What wheel circumference should I use?

700x25c is approximately 2105 mm, 700x28c is about 2136 mm, 700x32c is about 2155 mm. Check your tyre for the ETRTO size and measure or look up the circumference.

Where:

Gear Ratio = Chainring teeth / Sprocket teeth
Wheel Circumference is in millimetres
Speed is in km/h

Each pedal revolution advances the rear wheel by gear ratio turns. The distance per wheel turn equals the wheel circumference.
