Tubeless Conversion Calculator — What You Need

Most modern wheels with hookless or hooked tubeless-ready (TLR) rims work well. Non-tubeless rims can sometimes be converted, but results vary. Check your rim manufacturer specifications.

Road tyres (23-28 mm): 30-40 ml per tyre. Gravel (32-45 mm): 40-60 ml. MTB (2.0-2.4 in): 90-120 ml. Fat bike: 120 ml or more. Always follow the sealant manufacturer guidelines.

Top up every 2-4 months as sealant dries out. In hot climates it may need topping up monthly. Check by removing the valve core and using a dipstick or simply listening for liquid when shaking.

The tape should be 2-3 mm wider than the internal rim width to ensure full coverage of the spoke holes. Too narrow and air will leak; too wide and it bunches up.
