Service Interval Calculator — When to Service Your Bike
Calculate when your bike components need servicing based on your riding.
How We Calculate This
Service Interval Estimation
- Basic service: Every 1000-2000 km depending on bike type
- Full service: Every 3000-5000 km depending on bike type
- Suspension: MTB/gravel only — the km figure (≈4000-5000 km) is a rough proxy. Real intervals are hours-based: lower-leg 30-50 h (Fox) / 50 h (RockShox), full 100-200 h. Road, commuter and most e-bikes are rigid, so no suspension interval is shown.
- Conditions adjustment: Dry (+30%), Wet (-30%), Winter (-50%) — wet, grit and road salt strip lube and accelerate chain wear
- Intervals converted to months based on your weekly mileage
